The long awaited launch of Among US on VR.
Almost a year ago, at The Game Awards 2021, it was announced that Among US would be released on VR and the game has been very popular.
The game was produced by InnerSloth, PlayEveryWare.
The game was first released on June 15, 2018 for the Android platform, followed by iOS on June 17 of the same year and Microsoft Windows on November 16, and the studio released a console version on December 15.
The game will now officially launch for VR on 10 november 🗓.
Among US VR will be the first major sequel to the popular indie game.
The VR version will have an online multiplayer option similar to the original, with waiting rooms for up to 10 players. 👨👨👧👧
The trailer shown during the Meta Connect broadcast featured several new features that will appear in the VR version, such as:
- Emergency meetings (players will be able to see each other during the discussions) 🗣
- Death Scenes (3D reimaginings of many of the iconic death scenes from the original Among US)
A game that will surely become hundreds of times more popular.
